A New Global Business Opportunity: PRIME Battery Life Extension & BaaS Platform
We would like to introduce a new business opportunity with the potential to create an entirely new service industry within the industrial battery market.
REPOWERTEK INC. has developed “PRIME,” a proprietary lead-acid battery regeneration technology, alongside a global business structure designed to extend battery life and create value throughout the entire battery lifecycle. *[PRIME: Pulse-Resonant Impulse Method of Energy] *[BaaS: Battery-as-a-Service]
We are seeking strategic investors, joint venture (JV) partners, and companies interested in establishing and operating this business in their respective markets.
This is not merely an opportunity to sell equipment. It is an opportunity to build a new global business centered on batteries already in use, connecting battery supply, lifespan extension, maintenance subscriptions, equipment leasing, battery distribution, and end-of-life recycling through an integrated platform.
1. The Problem: Battery Replacement Is Not the Only Solution
Industrial batteries are essential for emergency power, telecommunications, data centers, energy storage, material handling, and countless other applications. Once battery performance begins to decline, the condition can deteriorate rapidly, potentially leading to missed opportunities to extend its lifespan. Therefore, timely action is critical.
While lithium-ion batteries offer advantages such as high energy density, they also pose safety risks, including thermal runaway, fire, explosion, and the release of toxic gases, under certain failure conditions. Managing these risks may require battery protection systems and fire prevention and response infrastructure, which increases installation and operating costs. Battery replacement and end-of-life management also add to the financial and environmental burden.
Lead-acid batteries remain a practical choice in many industrial sectors. However, conventional battery management approaches have primarily focused on charging, replacement, and recycling, without paying significant attention to systematically extending the lifespan of batteries already in operation.
Many existing regeneration methods rely on high-voltage charging, which can generate excessive heat and risk damaging the batteries.
PRIME bridges this gap through a new business model based on a differentiated regeneration method and battery life extension.
2. Solution: PRIME Battery Life Extension Technology
PRIME is a proprietary lead-acid battery regeneration solution developed by REPOWERTEK INC., drawing on five generations of product development and over 12 years of product supply experience.
Unlike conventional high-voltage charging methods, PRIME is designed to regenerate lead-acid batteries without overheating by combining proprietary high-frequency pulse technology with specialized control algorithms.
This technology aims to extend battery life by reducing sulfate buildup and internal resistance, improving cell balance, and preserving the economic value of existing battery assets.
REPOWERTEK INC. has developed a comprehensive product lineup covering industrial lead-acid battery applications, ranging from individual 2V cells and high-capacity battery banks to 6V, 8V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, and high-voltage systems.
Target Life Extension
PRIME BaaS is designed to extend the effective service life of suitable industrial lead-acid batteries.
Based on batteries with a State of Health (SoH) of 70% or higher, our lifespan extension targets are as follows:
12V batteries: Twice the original lifespan.
6V and 8V battery banks: 2.5 times the original lifespan.
2V high-capacity industrial batteries: 3 times the original lifespan.
These are target results only and are not guaranteed for all batteries. Actual performance depends on the battery’s condition, operating environment, application, and maintenance history.
Maintenance After the Manufacturer’s Warranty Expires
PRIME BaaS maintenance is designed to begin after the original battery manufacturer’s warranty has expired.
Eligible customers can entrust routine battery maintenance to the PRIME BaaS operator without the need to operate a separate, dedicated battery maintenance team. This reduces internal operational burdens and provides a systematic approach to diagnostics, regeneration, and ongoing maintenance.
Our business model aims to set annual maintenance costs at less than one-tenth the price of a new battery for suitable applications.
While lead-acid batteries do not have the same thermal runaway mechanisms as lithium-ion batteries, appropriate preventive measures against electrical faults, hydrogen gas accumulation, and acid exposure are still necessary. PRIME BaaS complements, but does not replace, proper battery safety management.
These are target results only and are not guaranteed for all batteries. Actual performance depends on the battery’s condition, operating environment, application, and maintenance history.
3. Economic and Environmental Opportunities
Traditional approaches to industrial battery management typically involve replacing batteries at the end of their useful life. Depending on the application and operating conditions, industrial lead-acid batteries generally last about 3 to 4 years.
PRIME offers an alternative: maintaining and remanufacturing eligible batteries to extend their useful life and delay replacement.
Our business model is designed to deliver the following economic and environmental benefits.
Maintenance Costs
In suitable applications, the target annual maintenance cost is less than 10% of the price of a new battery.
Total Cost of Ownership
Under our proposed business model, the cost of replacing conventional batteries over approximately 7 years is estimated at 300% of the initial price of a new battery.
PRIME BaaS is designed to extend battery life and reduce the need for replacement, thereby lowering replacement-related costs by approximately 200 percentage points. The cumulative BaaS subscription fees over the same period are estimated to be approximately 50% of the initial battery price.
When these subscription fees are factored in, the total cost is approximately 150% compared to 300% under the traditional replacement model. This translates to a net cost savings target of approximately 50%.
These estimates vary depending on assumed replacement cycles, subscription fees, battery performance, and operating conditions.
Reduction of Hazardous Waste
By extending battery life and reducing premature replacements, PRIME BaaS aims to reduce the volume of end-of-life batteries generated by up to 70% compared to the traditional replacement model.
Reduction in Carbon Emissions
By reducing the demand for new battery manufacturing, transportation, and replacement, PRIME BaaS aims to reduce associated carbon emissions by approximately 70%. This environmental estimate pertains to the reduction in replacement demand and does not account for BaaS subscription fees, which are financial costs rather than direct measurements of physical emissions.
Actual environmental performance depends on battery lifespan extension, the carbon footprint of manufacturing and transportation, and the scope of the life cycle assessment applied.
Reduction in Internal Maintenance Workload
For eligible facilities, customers can outsource routine battery maintenance tasks to the PRIME BaaS operator without the need to operate a separate, dedicated battery maintenance team. This reduces the demand for internal staff and administrative workload.
PRIME BaaS targets industrial and commercial facilities that are easily accessible for regular service visits during the initial phase. Remote mountainous areas or other locations where consistent maintenance access is difficult are excluded from the initial priority list.
The goal is to reduce operating costs, waste, and environmental impact while making battery life extension an economically attractive alternative to early replacement.
4. Special Battery Supply Contract: 100% + 30% Additional Lifespan
In addition to the BaaS maintenance business, REPOWERTEK INC. proposes a differentiated industrial battery supply contract that combines the supply of new batteries with PRIME regeneration technology.
This plan aims for an additional lifespan 30% longer than the existing 100% baseline, increasing the total usage commitment to 130%.
The proposed terms are as follows:
- Existing lifespan baseline: 100%.
- Additional lifespan commitment: 30%.
- Total target usage: 130%.
- Subject to agreed-upon eligibility requirements and contract terms, one complimentary on-site PRIME regeneration service will be provided to support the additional 30%.
- Once the 130% usage guarantee target is achieved, battery replacement will occur in accordance with the agreed-upon terms, regardless of the remaining battery capacity.
This is not merely a general claim that regeneration can extend battery life, but a clearly defined commercial contract. This contract combines the supply of new batteries with a specific additional usage guarantee backed by PRIME technology.
Detailed terms, eligibility criteria, and end-of-life battery disposal procedures are specified in the relevant supply agreement.
5. Business Model: Closed-Loop Battery Life Cycle Ecosystem
REPOWERTEK INC. has developed a business framework that connects six mutually complementary business segments.
These segments are designed to build a closed-loop ecosystem encompassing battery supply, usage, life extension, reuse, and end-of-life recycling.
A. Supply and Distribution of New Industrial Batteries
We supply new industrial lead-acid batteries to meet replacement, new installation, and additional capacity requirements.
The differentiated supply approach described above enables us to offer additional commercial proposals to qualified customers.
Target Partners: Battery manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, distributors, and industrial equipment suppliers.
B. Supply of Reconditioned Batteries
We source eligible used batteries, assess their condition, and supply batteries suitable for specific applications after refurbishment and testing.
This creates additional commercial distribution channels for batteries that are still fit for use but would otherwise have been replaced prematurely.
Target Partners: Battery wholesalers, used battery sellers, industrial battery suppliers, and companies targeting price-sensitive markets.
C. PRIME Equipment Leasing and Controlled Distribution
PRIME equipment is not intended for unrestricted retail distribution but is primarily an operational asset for authorized PRIME BaaS platform operators and service station networks.
Our key strategy is to lease equipment to qualified service providers and supply it to authorized platform and service station partners.
General equipment sales are expected to remain available during a limited transition period through mid-2027. After that period, general sales are expected to be limited to select markets, including certain African markets and conflict-affected regions where direct platform management is challenging.
Target Partners: Authorized platform operators, service center networks, equipment leasing companies, technical service providers, and companies capable of establishing local service operations.
The long-term goal is to prioritize recurring service revenue over one-time equipment sales.
D. Battery Life Extension as a Service (BaaS): PRIME BaaS
This is the platform’s core business.
PRIME BaaS operators provide battery diagnostics, regeneration, preventive maintenance, and ongoing battery services through subscription-based contracts, even after the manufacturer’s initial warranty period has expired.
Customers pay for professional battery maintenance services without having to rely solely on early replacements or operate a separate in-house maintenance team.
From the operator’s perspective, this enables the creation of ongoing customer relationships and service revenue based on batteries already installed in industrial settings.
Key Partners: UPS and ESS service providers, data center maintenance companies, material handling service providers, industrial equipment rental companies, battery maintenance companies, and entrepreneurs seeking to build recurring-revenue service businesses.
E. Lead Recycling and Refining at End-of-Life
Batteries that are no longer suitable for continued use can be collected and transported to appropriate lead recycling and refining facilities.
This approach links battery life extension with end-of-life disposal, addressing not only the extension of the battery’s effective lifespan but also the issue of material recovery when the battery has finally reached the end of its life.
Target Partners: Certified lead recycling companies, battery collection companies, recycling facilities, and industrial waste management companies.
F. Industrial Lead-Acid Battery Manufacturing
We will establish strategic relationships with battery manufacturers and, where commercially viable, pursue local manufacturing operations or joint ventures.
This sector supports a broader ecosystem by linking battery manufacturing with supply, distribution, lifespan extension, and recycling.
Key Partners: Battery manufacturers, industrial groups, strategic investors, and companies seeking vertical integration.
Each country-specific platform can prioritize the sectors best suited to its domestic market while remaining connected to the broader PRIME ecosystem.
6. Global Platform Architecture: REPOWERTEK INC. as Architect and Holding Company
REPOWERTEK INC. is establishing itself as the global platform architect and holding company for the PRIME battery life extension and BaaS businesses.
Our role is to design the overall business architecture, provide the core PRIME technology and product portfolio, establish platform standards, and develop business models applicable across international markets.
We do not plan to directly manage day-to-day operations in every country. Instead, the business is designed around three interconnected levels.
Global Level: REPOWERTEK INC.
- Global business and platform architecture.
- Core PRIME technology and equipment portfolio.
- Platform standards and operational framework.
- Strategic partnerships and ecosystem development.
- International expansion and coordination of global business direction.
Country Level: Local Joint Ventures
Each country-level joint venture builds and operates its own PRIME BaaS platform within an agreed-upon jurisdiction.
Local joint ventures are responsible for investment, management, staffing, customer acquisition, local partnerships, and business development.
They also establish country-specific networks comprising battery suppliers, maintenance shop operators, service providers, equipment rental partners, and recycling companies.
Operational Level: Local Service Centers and Service Networks
Country-level joint ventures establish a network of service centers and service operations to support industrial customers.
This network provides a practical foundation for maintenance subscriptions, equipment leasing, battery supply, distribution of reconditioned batteries, and other related services.
REPOWERTEK INC. designs the global system. Country-level joint ventures build and operate country-specific platforms. Local service centers and service networks provide services to customers.
This structure enables us to expand our business internationally while maintaining a common technological foundation, consistent operational standards, and a coordinated global strategy.
7. Country-Specific Joint Ventures (JVs) and Regional Headquarters
Our primary expansion model involves establishing local joint ventures in each target country. Each joint venture develops and operates its own country-specific PRIME BaaS platform and expands its service network.
In markets spanning multiple countries where direct management is difficult, a Regional Headquarters (RHQ) can serve as a coordination hub.
For example, a Regional Headquarters responsible for Asia or the Middle East can support multiple country-specific platforms in the following ways:
- Partner recruitment and development.
- Training and operational support.
- Technical coordination and equipment distribution.
- Regional business development.
- Coordination of cross-border partnerships and expansion.
This approach is particularly well-suited for situations where multiple markets require regional support but cannot be efficiently managed through single-country operations.
While country-specific joint ventures are responsible for their own operations, regional headquarters provide the regional coordination necessary to support growth.
8. What business area is right for your company?
We are seeking partners who want more than just a traditional equipment dealership or distribution agreement.
This opportunity involves participating in the establishment of a new industrial battery service business, with various entry points available depending on each company’s existing capabilities.
- Investors and venture capital firms: Fund pilot operations, support the establishment of joint ventures (JVs), validate business models, and raise capital for expansion.

The most suitable structure depends on the partner’s capital, local market access, operational capabilities, and long-term goals.
Regional exclusivity may be considered through a separate agreement based on defined investment levels, operational responsibilities, and performance commitments.
9. A New Standard for Industrial Battery Lifecycle Management
The existing battery industry is primarily structured around manufacturing, sales, use, replacement, and recycling.
PRIME introduces the following differentiated operating principles:
Extend the service life of eligible batteries, maintain them professionally, replace them when necessary, and manage the broader battery lifecycle through an integrated service business.
This approach is based on years of experience in technology development and product supply. The next step is to demonstrate operational viability through real-world customers and establish a repeatable business model across multiple markets.
We believe this approach has the potential to become the new standard for industrial lead-acid battery lifecycle management and will establish lifespan extension and preventive maintenance as essential elements of the industry, alongside battery supply and recycling.
Our goal goes beyond competing in the existing equipment market. It is to build a new global service sector based on recurring revenue, country-specific operating platforms, and a connected battery lifecycle ecosystem.
10. Building the Business Through Measurable Milestones
REPOWERTEK INC. has invested years in researching the development of PRIME technology, product supply, and strategies for commercializing a broader business model.
We have firsthand experience with the challenges of introducing new technologies and creating markets without an established operating model. This experience has helped us develop both the product portfolio and business architecture necessary for the next phase.
We are currently seeking partners who can provide investment capital, access to local markets, operational capabilities, strategic relationships, or a combination of these resources.
We propose the following phased approach:
1. Technology Validation: Measure battery performance before and after regeneration using agreed-upon test procedures.
2. Customer Validation: Conduct pilot projects with actual industrial battery users.
3. Commercial Validation: Enter into paid maintenance contracts and evaluate customers’ cost savings, operating expenses, and recurring revenue.
4. Nationwide Platform Launch: Establish local joint ventures, build a service network, and implement agreed-upon operational and performance standards.
5. Regional and Global Expansion: Scale the validated model through additional joint ventures, regional hubs, and strategic partnerships.
Each phase is evaluated based on agreed-upon milestones, after which we can proceed to broader investment and expansion.
This approach provides a practical path leading from technical capabilities to commercial validation and, ultimately, to a scalable operational network.
11. Proposal for Building a New Global Business
REPOWERTEK INC. has independently developed the PRIME technology and product portfolio through founder-funded capital and years of dedicated effort.
We now aim to build a global business centered on extending the lifespan of industrial batteries, moving beyond the simple sale of equipment.
